Choosing Wedding Colors

Choosing wedding colors can seem like a huge, daunting task. I’m telling you, though, it doesn’t have to be. You have to remind yourself that weddings are about you and your significant other and what you like and want. Sure, you may want to take into consideration the time of the year when you are getting married when it comes to picking your colors, but ultimately, it is up to you.

I would suggest going with something timeless. Something you can look back on in 20 years and still like and appreciate. Of course fashions will come and go with wedding dresses, but the colors you pick can help create that classic, fun, spunky, or timeless look that you are going for. Whatever you do decide, make sure that you absolutely love your wedding colors!

This is your big day and you can’t let other’s opinions get in the way. Now I’m not saying to throw everyone’s advice out the window, but take your time, see some options, and choose what is ultimately right for you!

Weddings – The Personal Touch

Up until the late 1960s, weddings were pretty much traditional events. With the social revolution of the 60s, people became more interested in self-expression. That is a trend that has taken root in today’s world of romance.

Weddings are a great way for a couple to express where they are in life. With couples waiting much longer to marry<, the cost of weddings is often falling more on the couple and lass on the parents. Couples are planning weddings that are more personal and less about impressing the folks.

The venues are often creative, sometimes outrageous. The nuptials have much more of a party feel and less of a ceremonial event. Some weddings are reflective of the couples lifestyle and hobbies like getting married while skydiving, while others are simple ceremonies with a big party afterwards. Some couple choose to avoid the hassles and simply elope and some still cling to tradition and the fairytale event.

A themed wedding such as a Luau are also becoming more and more popular. Much more fun and celebratory than a church and forced fed catered reception an informal meal and party at the beach with full bar be que are often much more memorable as well, and the bride is often more relaxed and able to be with her guests and family in a more comfortable setting.

This much is evident: Cookie cutter weddings are becoming a thing of the past.

Men’s Titanium Chains

While thinking about Christmas gifts this year, the one gift you can get a man and never go wrong is a chain. They can go with anything and everything. Most people do not realize how many options there are for chains. With a men’s titanium chain you will find a rugged style yet classy, but without a used car price.

There are so many styles to choose from. When it comes to chains you can fit just about any personality. There is the simple wheat link that everyone would recognize, but is more appealing to the simple laid back guy. These chains can be paired with just about any charm or attachment and add some detail to the chain. Today’s man  wants something more modern or cutting edge. Personally, I like the more noticeable chains. My go to is a box link chain, usually 10MM. These are very bright and simple, yet modern. Men can wear them plain or add a little bling.

We have touched on just a few of the many options available, but there are a variety of designs that are sure to match your gift giving needs and budget. You can go small, big, simple or modern. No matter the personality of the person wearing it, there are titanium chains for all the men on your list.

Wedding Presents for Bridesmaids

Brides have been giving wedding presents to their bridesmaids for as long as anyone can remember. This is a tradition that has been around and will continue to be around for eternity. There are no real limits to the types of presents that are given to bridesmaids, however the types of presents for bridesmaids typically falls into the category of jewelry when given.

Brides have enjoyed giving jewelry to bridesmaids for quite some time now. Once again, there are no limits to the type of presents for bridesmaids given but when jewelry is given, it tends to generally fall into the category of ear rings. No matter what the are given, the only thing that really matters is that the tradition lives on.

The reason behind the gift is more of a thank you than anything else. It is to say thank you for being a part of this special day and thank you for being special in my life. Wedding presents for bridesmaids will continue to be given forever!

Titanium Bracelets

Titanium bracelets are one of the best pieces of jewelry to own as titanium is lightweight, yet very strong, and it is dent resistant. Since bracelets often get banged around, there is no better metal to use to create visually uniquely designed bracelets for men and women that are strong, durable, hypoallergenic, and extremely low priced.

One of the benefits of titanium as a metal used for the design of wedding bands and rings is the natural beauty of titanium. Titanium is a  beautiful silver color in its natural state. Titanium can be anodized to produce various colors used to manufacture jewelry. This is seen often in body piercing jewelry for sale in various jewelry stores and kiosks in malls and the streets of the world.

However the feature that really entices our customers is the great price titanium jewelry is found for sale online and offline. Unlike the traditional silver, gold, or platinum bracelets and their extremely high prices, titanium bracelets are affordable for every budget. With titanium the stronger, longer lasting precious metal it makes perfect sense to purchase one created to last a lifetime.

Wedding Shoes

Why Are Wedding Shoes So Important to the Bride?

The day of the wedding, all the eyes will be on the bride and her shoes. This is the day women dream about all their lives, and every single detail has to be perfect on their special day. The wedding dress will be attracting most of the attention, but the shoes are something brides put just as much attention on.

The bride will be on her feet from morning to night, and getting a pair of shoes that are comfortable, and accessorize well with her dress, are extremely important. Regardless of the color, or the style of the wedding dress, a pair of matching shoes will make her day. Many shoes can be custom designed to match the dress exactly. All eyes will be on her shoes when she is dancing, removing her garter, and walking down the aisle. Is it any wonder the shoes are as much a part of her big day as her beautiful dress.

Just as important as a bride’s shoes are the style and design of the wedding bands. Some couples like matching bands which can be practical for some people, but where the groom works with his hands a traditional wedding band may not be the best choice to express the love of being wed.

Titanium Rings

Titanium rings are constructed of titanium and typically another material to make jewelry rings or bands. They have become a modern day phenomenon, as they grew in popularity with the brides and grooms of the past two decades.

With the price of gold, silver, and platinum skyrocketing in prices to where they are almost unaffordable for most people titanium, and tungsten rings have become a popular alternative to the more traditional and old school jewelry. Modern brides like the price and modern grooms like the durability found in a ring or other pieces of titanium jewelry.

Titanium was named in 1795 by a chemist from Germany named Martin H. Klaproth, who decided upon the name by reference of the Greek Titans in mythology. Discovered initially in 1791 in Cornwall, England by William Gregor, it was not until almost 150 years later in 1932 that commerical use of titanium first became possible by the methods of reduction of the metal by William Justin Knoll.

Don’t forget they are hypoallergenic so they are safe for the body and your wallet.

Wedding Food

One of the most important aspects of any wedding is the food that will be served. Whether it is a firehouse that is rented out to hold the reception, or at the Harvard Club of Harvard University, in Boston Massachusetts, the food served during a wedding reception will be remembered and talked about well after the wedding day is over and the couple are home from their honeymoon.

One thing new that may not have been seen much in the past is the idea of holding a barbecue for a wedding reception, as grilling is one way to prepare a lot of food in a short time. It is very simple to cook a variety of different meats, poultry, fish to feed a large group of guests.

Or if there is enough time a wedding reception with a luau theme would be very different. A full roast pig, with a variety of barbecue sauces for guests to choose from, baked beans, corn on the cob can be grilled as well. A nice selection of cold salads makes it easy to serve a lot of people quickly and efficiently as well.

No matter what food you decide to serve, be sure to ensure the food is quality and fresh, for a memorable day.

Wedding Invitations

Wedding invitations capture a moment of your special day. Unique invitations are used to express what your day means to you. Invitations can be created in many different styles. You can use a favorite photo or include a wedding theme.

They can be printed on gloss, matted, or completely recycled paper, set to a color scheme, or contain a unique design. Envelopes can be customized to match any invitation. Keep in mind that these invitations can be conveniently ordered online, purchased in stores, or you can set a day for a do-it-yourself project.

If you decide the DIY method, gather your wedding party and make a day of it. A determined bride and her party combined with a bottle of wine, and a wedding party can accomplish anything they set their minds to! When inviting family and friends to the big day, you start with an invitation. Make it your own for this beautiful day!

Tungsten Rings

Tungsten rings are growing in popularity more and more. They have become extremely popular in the bridal fashion world due to the superior hardness and scratch resistant nature, are typically found to be five to ten times stronger than 18 karat gold.

These rings have found a large fan base for men as the rings are well suited for occupations that require the use of hands and fingers and after damaging gold and silver wedding bands so easily, most men stopped wearing them out of guilt. Men like the scratch resistance when working around the house, or working in masonry or automobile repair.

A reason the it has found such popularity is it has a very masculine look that men can admire and feel at ease discussing. Another facet is people feel this ring has a more expensive look and feel than the silver, gold, and platinum used to create wedding rings.
